The TV star who featured in a GQ edition yesterday October 21 has expressed complete dissatisfaction at the way the publication described her saying she ‘was so excited to be featured in GQ not realizing [she] Was shooting for a tabloid’.
The interview written by Carrie Battan described the blonde as a former stripper among other things.
“Amber Rose wrote the book on it. No, seriously: Kanye’s infamous ex, Wiz Khalifa’s baby mama, America’s toughest bald babe since Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3, is about to publish a book of life lessons called How to Be a Bad Bitch. Like Amber herself, it’s all heart. Unlike Amber, it’s not that thick! The teen stripper turned megalomaniac muse spoke to Carrie Battan about her beautiful dark twisted journey to the top.”
The writer had also written of how much Amber had to deal with unacceptable situations in the relationship.

Reacting to this Amber has called out the magazine saying she touched on several key issues in the course of the interview and photoshoot only for her past life as a stripper to be the highlight of the publication.
She went on her Instagram and copied the magazine in a deep set of words as she poured out her anger:
Amber wrote: “Really @gq??? I’m so much more then Kanye’s Ex or Wiz’s baby’s mama. Damn, why the (expletive) did u guys reach out to me for this article and photoshoot? To dumb me down? I talked about feminism and my Slutwalk… Wtf nice title smh I expected so much more from u guys and I’m so disappointed. I was so excited to be featured in GQ not realizing I was shooting for a tabloid. My slutwalk was for ignorant (expletive) like this. Oh “Her beautiful dark twisted journey to the top”? Nice pun. Negative af. Thx for nothing.”

Lagos commissioner sends out letter demanding to be addressed by her professional title

There is a silent uneasiness within the Lagos state Civil service over a letter sent by the newly appointed commissioner for Youth & Social Development, Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf (left) to the office of the Chief of Staff demanding that she be addressed using her professional title as a Pharmacist.

The letter, titled "Re:Appointment of the newly sworn Honorable Commissioners" which was sent out on Wednesday October 21st and signed by the permanent secretary Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Adenle O.F, reads in part;

 "I am directed to refer to the above subject and to inform you that the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development will like to be officially addressed as Pharmacist (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf. Consequently, any publication or correspondence should be addressed as stated above".

Some of the civil servants argue that her insistence on the use of her professional title is uncalled for as that will not determine her effectiveness in office while some say she has the constitutional right to demand how she will like to be addressed.

Army Exposes Big Men Plotting To Prolong Boko Haram

The Nigerian Army has raised the alarm over plans by “some highly-placed individuals” in the North East, particularly Borno State, to sabotage military operations in the region.

“The Nigerian Army wishes to inform the public and send a very strong and serious final warning to some prominent individuals and political groups who hailed from Borno State in particular and North East generally, that there is information of plans by some highly placed individuals and political groups to undermine and scuttle the fight against terrorism and insurgency in this country. 

“The unscrupulous individuals and their cohorts were determined to reverse the gains made and scuttle our efforts of achieving the Presidential directive to defeat Boko Haram terrorists within 3 months. They are enlisting the services of some Non-Governmental Organizations in this grand design...

“It has come to our knowledge that they were employing every means to see that the operation does not succeed in order for them to continue to enjoy certain benefits.

“It has been revealed that they are employing the services of marabouts and other unethical means in order to frustrate our efforts and the operations in addition to campaign of calumny.

“We are aware of their clandestine meetings and other diabolical efforts to achieve their nefarious aims. This would not be tolerated.

“Therefore, such individuals and groups should be warned in unmistakable terms that anyone found would be dealt with accordingly.

“People should place the interest of the nation above any personal gain or ambition. The continued lost of lives and property in this country through terrorists activities does not one any good.”

A statement released by the army spokesman, Sani Usman, said the elite were bent on having the activities of the Boko Haram terrorists prolonged for their selfish interests.

I wonder why some people are just heartless. What will they benefit if Boko Haram continue to kill?
