Osun State Employs 3,000 New Teachers

The Osun State Universal Basic Education Board has recruited 3,000 new teachers for the public primary schools in the state. According to the Chairman of the board, Mr. Felix Awofisayo, the teachers have been provided with instructional materials to improve standard of education in the state. Awofisayo made the disclosure in Osogbo on Thursday during a training session for Quality Assurance Officers of SUBEB, Local Government Education Authorities and Zonal Inspector of Education in the state. The SUBEB chairman added that infrastructural development tailored to boost the standard of education in the state had been put in place.
